Meet the Team

Dr Daniel Lee
BSc, MBBS, FRACS
Consultant General Surgeon
Dr Lee is an Australian trained General Surgeon who has a keen interest in hernia surgery and colorectal surgery.​​ Dr Lee obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2009 and he completed his surgical training in New South Wales within the prestigious Central training network. It is within this network where Daniel has trained with some of the very best surgeons in New South Wales. His experiences have taken him from places such as Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney to the Royal Darwin, Orange Base and Dubbo Base Hospitals.​ After obtaining his fellowship within the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2019, Dr Lee has completed over 2 years of subspecialty post fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery. ​

Dr Lee operates at Canterbury Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital and St George Private Hospital.​

Dr Dan L Wong
BSc, MBBS, FRACP
Consultant Geriatrician
Dr Wong obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney and went on to complete specialist physician training at St George, Sutherland, and Prince of Wales Hospitals.
He obtained Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine in 2019 and is a Staff Specialist in Geriatric and General Medicine at St. George Public Hospital.

With a focus on Quality of Life and Healthy Ageing, Dr Wong provides patient-centred care for older adults. He guides his patients through the ageing process, with the overall aim of maintaining independence and function. Explaining things in a way that is easy to understand, Dr Wong strives to keep patients and their families informed and involved in care.

Dr Wong is originally from Canada, and before becoming a physician, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa and served in the Canadian Armed Forces Army Reserve.

Dr. Ankur Dhar
MBBS, MS, FRACS, FUSANZ
Urological Surgeon
Dr Ankur Dhar is an Australian-trained urological surgeon based in Sydney, with a special interest in uro-oncology, robotic surgery, kidney stones, prostate conditions, and general urology.
He completed his medical degree and specialist urology training in New South Wales, before undertaking a prestigious, accredited Uro-Oncology Fellowship at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in the United Kingdom. There, he gained advanced experience in robotic and open surgery for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, as well as complex robotic reconstructive procedures. Dr Dhar is committed to delivering compassionate, personalised, and evidence-based care. He combines the latest surgical technology with a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to achieve the best outcomes for those he treats.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Dhar is actively involved in surgical research and education, and plays a key role in training the next generation of urologists.
He treats a wide range of conditions, including urological cancers (kidney, prostate, ureter, bladder, and testicular), kidney and ureteric stones, prostate enlargement, and other general urological issues.

Dr. Gobind Bal

Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Gobind Bal is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon renowned for his expertise in joint replacement surgery and sports injuries. Growing up with a passion for both athletics and science, he found his passion in orthopaedics—a field where he could merge his interests to help others.
After completing his medical degree, Dr Bal pursued rigorous training in orthopaedic surgery in NSW – Northside training program, honing his skills in joint replacement & arthroscopic surgery, management of trauma and sports injuries.

Dr Bal has completed his fellowships in:
1. Primary and complex joint replacement surgery
2. Adult and Paediatric knee
3. Joint reconstruction and replacement surgery using Robotics
Dr Bal's interests are in Joint replacement surgery (Robotics, Navigation and Conventional), Sports related injuries, Adult and Paediatric Fracture management, Arthroscopic surgery and Patellofemoral stabilisation.
